Electronic appts. with multi-part housing

An electronic appts. has a beam transmitting and/or receiving sensor element integrated in a multi-part housing with holders for interconnecting the housing parts. One of each pair of interlocking holders is coated with an elastic material. Pref. the housing consists of glass fibre-reinforced plastics and the elastic material (22) pref. consists of styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene pref. applied to the housing part during injection moulding of the latter.
