The hexagonal interstices (1) of the spacer proposed are formed by plate-metal strips (3) with two free ends (4, 5), most of the strips extending round several sides (2a, 2b, 2c) of an interstice, the free ends of the strips being welded to the bend lines (6, 7) in other strips (8, 9) of the same kind. The bend lines in the metal strips form the corners of the spacer. |
