Centrifugal planetary mixer operation

Process for mixing in a centrifugal planetary mixer, for prepn. of dental mixts., involves (a) a premixing phase with a mixer arm rotational speed of 100-500 rpm; (b) an intermediate phase with a mixer arm rotational speed of 0-50 rpm; (c) a third phase with a mixer arm rotational speed greater than that of phase (a); and (d) opt. repetition of phases (a) and (b) before the final phase (c). Also claimed are (i) a centrifugal mixer bowl for carrying out the above method; and (ii) a centrifugal planetary mixer for carrying out the above method.
