Dispensing apparatus characterised in that a retractable device (16-30) is articulated, in a controlled and limited manner, to a reel support member (3), and in that a protective hood (8) has longitudinal grooves (20) capable of co-operating with said device (16-30) so that, when the hood is closed and the device lowered into place, a drawn paper web can be folded with the longitudinal end rims (B1-B2) of the web (B) partially tucked under the upper portion (B3) of the web, which is positioned and directed via contact with the upper face of the device (16-30) so as to be fed in a folded state between the drum and the press-roll and cut by a cutting device in order to be pulled from the apparatus in a folded state by a user. The apparatus is also characterised in that, when said retractable device (16-30) is in a raised position relative the reel-support (3) and the drum (4) and press-roll (6) assembly, the paper web can be directly dispensed without using said device, so as to be fed from the reel between the drum and press-roll in an unfolded state and to be cut in such a state by the cutting device (5) when pulled by the user. |
