<p>An improved oil drainage and disposal device (10) comprising a box-like container (12) with a large eccentric opening (22) in one surface (14) to permit a plurality of oil containers (24) to be inserted into its interior for storage. Also, used oil being drained from a vehicle can enter container (12) through opening (22). A plurality of cam-actuated openings (32) are formed in a second surface (16) of container (12) perpendicular to surface (14) for releasably retaining the necks (34) of oil containers (24). A wiper means (36) is mounted in each opening (32) and resiliently urged into position to seal the opening (32), and a funnel area (30) is formed in the second surface (16) about each oil container (24). Oil containers (24) emptied of clean oil are filled through the sealable openings (32) with used oil, which can thus be reclaimed in the original containers. As a result both oil and containers can be recycled without impact on the environment.</p> |
