Companies which manufacture electrical distribution boards have their own special constructions for a board which is protected against being touched and against splashes. As a result of this, there is a large number of construction elements. The aim of the invention is a construction for an electrical distribution board from which any type of board at all can be manufactured. The construction has no partitions. It has side walls 21 only on the outer sides. Partitions consist of rear profiles 25 and front profiles 26 between which a narrow vertical rail 28 can be placed, by means of which an actual space for the rail is not required. A removable bottom plate 24 is easily secured from above by means of screws or rivets between the side walls and the rear profiles 21, 25. If a partition is required between fields, a straight plastic plate is fixed inside, at the bottom edge of which it is possible to make through connections for the cables between the fields. The construction is easy and quick to install, as the partitions are not in place during the installation. The system is versatile. If the system comprises: - Two depths of side plates (for example 90 and 160 mm) - Three widths (for example 300, 450 and 600 mm) - Six construction heights (for example 560-1960 mm) - Two systems (BS and SS) 108 different board constructions can be assembled from them. <IMAGE>
