A stack of closure plates with slots are slipped over a cable passing through an aperture in a wall of a radiation containment enclosure and affixed to the enclosure wall. The slots of the plates are staggered with alternate plates bearing on opposite sides of the cable to secure the cable and impede leakage of radiation through the aperture and along the cable.
