<p>A method for constructing a multi-pier foundation in which concrete piers are formed at the construction site. Multiple holes (14) are formed in the ground at spaced intervals. A spike (4) having a support surface (20) is positioned in each hole such that the support surfaces of the spikes so positioned are substantially at the same elevation. Concrete (3) is then poured in the holes to fix the spikes in that position and complete the formation of the piers.</p> |
