<p>The present invention relates to new non-ionic iodized X-ray contrasting agents, having a dimer structure and a general formula (I), wherein the union bridge is a malonic, hydroxymalonic or ketomalonic acid derivative, and wherein R1 to R8, which may be identical or different, represent hydrogen or a linear or branched, C2-C4 polyhydroxy-alkyl radical with 1-3 OH groups; R9 represents hydrogen, methyl or a linear or branched C2-C4 polyhydroxy-alkyl radical with 1 or 2 OH groups; X is hydrogen, hydroxyl radical (-OH) or oxo group (=O). The invention also relates to the process for the preparation of preferred products having the general formula (I), and to pharmaceutical preparations containing said products and intended to be applied in radiodiagnosis.</p> |
