Multi-stage fan for car, with control resistors on carrier plate attached by spring clips

The multi-stage fan uses a carrier plate with the resistors sitting in the air stream on one side and power connections on the reverse side. The resistors (25) protrude through a hole in a wall bounding the air stream, beneath a cover(24), there being a seal between carrier plate and wall. On the side of the plate (21) facing the wall there is a sealing surface (36,37) and the edge of the opening has a corresponding sealing surface. The clip (26) squeezes the two surfaces together. The sealing surface on the plate is conical and that on the wall is funnel-shaped.
