An edge connector for a printed circuit panel comprises an insulating body 21 (Fig. 2 of the Complete Specification) provided with a series of contact receiving apertures 24 separated by inwardly extending web-like walls 25 defining a longitudinal panel receiving slot 26, one or both ends of the body being formed with separate moulded synthetic plastic end-piece adapted for detachably securing thereto and also to a support. The end-piece (Fig. 3 of the Provisional Specification) formed of sheet metal has an end wall 4, side walls 5 and 6 formed with lugs 7 and a flange 8 at the lower end terminating in lugs 9. The end-piece is snapfitted to a body member 1 (Fig. 4) so that the lugs 9 engage the flange 2. In a modification (Fig. 4 of the Complete Specification) an endpiece of different form completes the slot 26 engaging the body 21 by a vertical sliding fit into the endmost aperture 24. According to the Provisional Specification the contact apertures may be on one side only of the slot. Also the connector may be secured by the end pieces on a member having a slot with the tail pieces of the contacts in the connector passing through this slot.
