PURPOSE:To control a displayed picture corresponding to a user's action without mounting or operating a special electronic device in a picture control device such as a television game in which a picture changes in response to the user's operation. CONSTITUTION:When a user swings a blue bat 101, for example, against a ball 105 displayed on a display device as a picture, a camera stores the scene. From the picked up video, chromakey signals relative to blue are extracted and a coordinate map 202 of the bat 101 and center of gravity coordinates (indicated by X) of the bat 101 are detected. And a positional relationship 203 between coordinates 201 of the ball 105 which are beforehand stored and the center of gravity coordinates (indicated by X) is discriminated. Based on the positional relationship, the displayed picture is changed to a home run picture or a grounder picture or a fly picture. |
