PURPOSE:To eliminate irregulatity in charging depth between batteries in charging, and realize long cycle life by connecting resistors having such resistance values that products of charging efficiency in the respective batteries and a charged current value become equal to each other in parallel to the respective batteries, and charging them. CONSTITUTION:Changing switches SW1-SW10 are series connected to resistors R1-R10 having such resistance values that products of charging efficiency in respective batteries C1-C10 and the charged current value become equal to each other, and they are connected to the respective batteries C1-C10, in parallel to form an assembly battery device A. For the device A, it is charged at 10A for 13 hours, and after the resistors R1-R10 are disconnected from the batteries C10, it is discharged at 10A to 1.0V. As a result, the discharge capacity becomes 108Ah for all the batteries C1-C10 thereby irregularity in charging depth between the batteries C1-C10 is eliminated. |
