PURPOSE: To easily handle a cover and inspect the watertightness and to reduce the potential defects by reducing the contact parts and joint parts by mounting a cable assembly containing a watertight bushing and a watertight connection box. CONSTITUTION: A cable assembly for industrial robot comprises power and signal cables 23 extended through a watertight connection box 17 connected to each motor unit 11 from the watertight bushings 28, 29 so that respective cable serves all the motor units connected along the cable. The cables 23 are unsheathed within the respective connection box 17, whereby the number of conductors for the motor unit in question are deflected, whereas the other conductors are left to pass to the next motor unit together with the remaining part of the deflected conductors without joining. |
