<p>PURPOSE:To satisfactorily maintain the reliability in the lowering action of an air filter at the time of its removal, in a spot type air conditioner which is installed at a high place. CONSTITUTION:In a spot type air conditioner which is installed at a high place, an air filter 6 is suspended from rollers 9 by string members 11, a sprocket 10 is integrally and rotatably mounted on one end of a rotary shaft 12 of the rollers 9 and a chain 17 is passed around the sprocket 10 and is hung down to the surface of floor. A nearly U-shaped pressing plate 20 is fitted around the outer periphery of the sprocket 10 into contact with the outer side faces of the chain 17. A coil spring is provided between the end parts of the pressing plate 20 to adjust the contact force of the pressing plate 20 against the chain 17. When the air filter is removed, it is lowered at a relatively and constantly low speed by the balance of its own weight between the resistance of the pressing plate 20.</p> |
