PURPOSE: To provide a sterilized animal feed composition which is meat or the like mixed with cereal and water, processed on specified conditions and irregularly formed into beautiful cut while reducing the existence of microbes and eliminating the damage of chunk. CONSTITUTION: Meat and meat subproducts in 55 to 85% are mixed with cereal in 10 to 25% and water in 0 to 15%, the mixture is emulsified at 15 deg.C at a maximum, extruded, heated, precut, cooled and molded into cubes, the chunk provided like this is mixed with sauce or base, a container is filled with products and sterilized and the target sterilized animal feed composition, in which the chunk in 97% has a dimension so as not to be passed through a sieve having the mesh of 4 mm and these chunks in 40 to 70% are formed so as not to be regular angle geometrical volume, is provided. |
