PURPOSE:To provide the address generating circuit of simple circuit constitution for circular addressing. CONSTITUTION:A bit separating circuit 304 extracts an index from an inputted address. When a step value inputted in an adding circuit 302 is plus, an index generating circuit performs subtraction between the sum of the index and step value, and the capacity value of a storage area, and outputs the sum of the index and step value or their subtraction result as an index according to the sign of the subtraction result. When the step value is minus, the index and step value are added together, and the sum of the index, step value, and capacity value of the storage area or the addition result as a new index according to the sign of the addition result. A bit multiplexing circuit 314 generates a next address from the new index and address. |
