PURPOSE: To provide a point bonded nowoven fabric having strong bonded points and produced from conjugate fibers and its production method. CONSTITUTION: The point bonded nonwoven fabric having strong bonded points is produced from conjugate fibers comprising polyolefin and polyamide by forming a nonwoven web while adhering conjugate fibers onto the forming surface, heating the web to a temperature lower than the bonding temperature of the polyolefin and passing it through a nip between bonding rolls under about 3,000-180,000 psi nip pressure. |
