PURPOSE:To make the structure of an entire device compact by providing an engagingly locking control means releasing the engagingly locking state of a regulation member and allowing rapid forward movement of a front side mass body by a main spring member and also for rendering the regulation member again in the engagingly locking state when the front side mass body is returned to its rear original position by a connection member. CONSTITUTION:When an inertia force acts on mass bodies 14, 15 by vehicular rapid deceleration, etc., the front/rear mass bodies 14, 15 are moved forward against the spring force of a sub-spring member 13 and the engagingly locking state of a regulation member 16 is released by an engagingly locking control means 18 and the front side mass body 14 is allowed to move forward rapidly by the spring force of a main spring member 12. When it is reset, the front side mass body 14 is returned to its rear original position by a connection member 17 and the main spring member 12 is shrunk again between the engagingly locking parts 141, 151 of the front/rear mass bodies 14, 15 and the reset is finished by placing the regulation member 16 in the engagingly locking state again by the engagingly locking control means 18 so that it may be reused. Therefore, the device structure can be simplified and miniaturized. |
