PURPOSE: To provide a dye-donor element having a crosslinked binder to elimi nate or largely reduce sticking of a dye-donor element to a dye acceptor ele ment. CONSTITUTION: The dye-donor element for a thermal dye transfer comprises a dye layer containing an image dye dispersed in a binder carried on a support, wherein the binder contains hydroxyl groups which have been crosslinked with a titanium alkoxide crosslinking agent and the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety of the alkoxide does not exceed four. |
