PURPOSE:To provide a Hall element for magnetic pole detection which can realize a small size and flat motor while ensuring high output and low noise. CONSTITUTION:A chip 25 having a magnetic field sensing surface is embedded within a resin package 26 having two longer sides 26a, 26b which are parallel with the mounting surface of the Hall element and two short sides 26c, 26d, two terminals 27a, 27b are led from one longer side 26a of two longer sides 26a, 26b, and terminals 28a and 28b are respectively led one by one from two short sides 26c, 26d. |
