<p>PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable electric connector which make a connection between electrical members arranged in parallel by having an extremely small contact and which can relatively easily and inexpensively be manufactured. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector 10 is formed by having a housing 16 and a plurality of contacts 18. The housing 16 is provided with a cross contact mounting area 20. The contact 18 is a piece of a S-shaped spring contact connected to the housing 16 in the mounting area 20. An attachment part 34 is formed in the medial portion of the contact 18, and is arranged in a lateral hole part 28 of the mounting area 20 for the purpose of fixing the contact 18 to the housing 16. Both ends 36 and 37 of the contact 18 project from the mounting area 20, and is brought into contact with pads 38 and 39 of printed wiring boards 12 and 14.</p> |
