PURPOSE: To provide an accelerator pedal device for vehicles that can be assembled in advance outside of vehicles and be easily installed independently of the tolerances of vehicle body components. CONSTITUTION: This accelerator pedal device for vehicles includes an accelerator pedal plate 21 that is pivotally supported on a pedal holder in the form of a housing and that is connected to an adjusting unit. The pedal holder consists of an oblong housing comprising two panlike halves in which components of the adjusting unit are held on bearing points 5 and 6 molded on to the interior side. On the exterior side of the halves, transversely extending catch hook strips 9 and 10 are arranged, and on a lower surface thereof facing the vehicle superstructure, molded-on common centering domes 11 and 12 are provided for the fastening and fixing of the position. |
