PURPOSE:To provide a derusting device capable of safely carrying out rust scraping work even in the case when a steel frame is positioned at a high place as well as improving a work environment at the time of scraping rust from the lower surface of a bottom wall of the steel frame in a structure of steel frame structure. CONSTITUTION:This device is a device for scraping rust formed on a lower surface 905 of a lower flange 9 of a H-type steel 3 constituting a beam 1, and it is provided with a frame 13 arranged below the H-type steel 3, a supporting mechanism 19 supporting the frame 13 in a shiftable manner below the H-type steel 3 and in the longitudinal direction of the H-type steel 3 and a driving mechanism 21 to drive the frame 13 to travel along the H-type steel 3. Additionally, it is furnished with a brush roller 17 supported by the frame 13 free to rotate so that its outer peripheral part abuts on a lower surface 901 of the lower flange 9 and rotatively driven by a motor 2103 of the driving mechanism 21 and a rust receiver 18 supported by the frame 13 and to store rust scraped by the brush roller 17. |
