PURPOSE:To provide a feed material for young monogastric animals, having improved digestion rate of individual components in soybean, particularly the digestion rate of coarse fibers and markedly enriched nutrient value, and then useful for swine, etc. CONSTITUTION:The object feed material for young monogastric animals is prepared by treating soybeans with a twin shaft extruder, while water is added to the soybean to be processed in an amount of 5 to 30wt.%, the barrel temperature is kept at 100 to 250 deg.C at the residence time of 5 to 90 seconds in the barrel under the pressure of 15 to 100kg/cm<2> and the screws having 1 to 6 kneading disks are used. |
