PURPOSE:To protect the surface of a printed image by heating laminated resin after the transfer of color ink. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon 15 is stored in an ink ribbon cassette 16. A yellow ink area, a magenta ink area, a cyan ink area and a transparent laminated resin area are formed successively on the ink ribbon. Respective ink areas are heated by a thermal head 14 to transfer the ink onto a recording paper, and a full color image is recorded on the recording paper by three-color surface sequence or three-color line sequence. After that, the laminated resin area is heated by the thermal head 14 to transfer the laminated resin onto the recording paper in a manner of covering ink dots. |
