<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the high speed property by providing an exclusive memory for program counter and to eliminate the limitation of the stack level. CONSTITUTION:As for a user program performings sub-routine branch instruction in the range of the stack level of a program counter stack 6, the operation is performed by a program counter stack 6 having an exclusive memory and an exclusive bus so that the very high-speed processing can be performed. Even when the stack level of the user program is deep, at the time the stack level of the program counter stack 6 is exceeded, the value of the program counter 2 can be stacked on the address of a random access memory 5 indicated by a stack pointer 9 by the control of a control circuit 8.</p> |
