PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a liquid crystal display while decreasing the number of joints. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of common wirings 26 are arranged in parallel on the surface of a part of lower transparent substrate 25 projecting from an upper transparent substrate 24. A plurality of input terminals 30 are arranged along a line inclining against the extending direction of the common wires 26 on the rear surface of an IC chip 22 for driving a liquid crystal panel 21. The input terminals 30 are connected electrically with corresponding common wirings 26. Since the IC chip 22 is mounted directly on the common wiring 26 of the lower transparent substrate 25, the size can be reduced while decreasing the number of joints. |
