PURPOSE: To provide a machine for mechanically machining board characterized by a number of machining heads, remarkably realistic in design, and capable of resolving typical defects and simultaneously working the number of packs of particularly a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: This machine for machining board comprises a work table 8 movable along a first axis Y, a number of machining heads 12, and a crosspiece 11 movable along a second axis X perpendicular to the first axis Y. The crosspiece 11 presents a box structure and two end portions 32 guided on two horizontal projections 34 of two fixed uprights. A pair of circulation-type new- nuts 52, 53 for selectively moving the crosspiece 11 is mounted between one of the projections 32 and the corresponding end portion 32 of the cross piece 11. Each machining head 12 is assigned a tool store 56 accessible from the rear of the machine for machining board. |
