PURPOSE:To obtain a rice-derived antiasthmatic agent excellent in safety and economicity and capable of being readily prepared from raw materials which can be constantly supplied and habitually used over a long period thoroughly with safety. CONSTITUTION:This rice-derived antiasthrmtic agent is composed of (1) a ground material of rice or germinated rice, (2) an extract of rice or germinated rice, (3) a material prepared by adding water to rice or germinated rice and enzymatically decomposing it or allowing malted rice to act thereon, (4) a material prepared by extracting rice or germinated rice before, simultaneously with or after enzymatic decomposition or treatment with malted rice or (5) a material prepared by extracting or enzymatically decomposing rice or germinated rice or treating it with malted rice and allowing an alcohol fermentation or an organic acid fermentation. Each of the above to (1) to (5) can be objective agent as it is. |
