<p>PURPOSE:To provide a simple method for caking an incinerated ash, etc., with high efficiency at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:A resinous caking agent such as a polyurethane isocyanate formed by adding an isocyanic group to a cohesive resin and exhibiting a primary bonding power by chemical reaction is dissolved in a volatile org. solvent, absorbed in an inorg. open-cell porous material and dried. A material obtained by mixing a pore forming material and water into a quartzite powder and clay powder, agitating the mixture to form a slurry, drying and sintering the slurry, impregnating the sintered material with a water repellent, drying and heat-treating the product is used as the inorg. open-cell porous material. The porous material is impregnated with a resinous caking agent, dried and crushed to obtain a powder having the same mesh as a cement to be used. A mixture of 2% of the obtained powder, 3% cement and 95% incinerated ash is added with water and kneaded. The kneaded material is instantly caked, and the treatment is finished.</p> |
