PURPOSE: To display a picture on a two-dimensional scanning display while reality is added to the picture by generating a parallax effect by using an inexpensive method. CONSTITUTION: A graphic application 42 calculates the displaying the reference coordinates (x, y) and relative depth value (z) of each picture displayed on a twodimensional display. When a user watching the display moves, the routine of a graphic application developing tool kit 40 recalculates the coordinates (x, y) and depth value (z) of the picture and divides the coordinates (x, Y) by the depth value (v). The application 42 selects and displays the prescribed two-dimensional data of the picture by using the values of x/z and y/z thus found. When applicable, the application 42 outputs voice. Therefore, a parallax effect occurs in the user and reality is added to the picture displayed on the two-dimensional scanning display. |
