PURPOSE:To closely and securely mount a blow-molded duct on a synthetic resin-made case body for an air cleaner, etc. CONSTITUTION:An air inlet pipe 13 of a synthetic resin-made case body 11 is composed of a main pipe body part 13a with the gradually enlarged inner surface, a thin wall end part 13b and a tapering inner surface 13c spreading outward therebetween. A blow-molded duct 15 has an outside diameter almost equal to the inside diameter of the main pipe body part 13a at the inner side of the end of the duct and a stop projection 15d on its end. The duct 15 is also provided with a locking part 15a at the distance equal to the inside length of the pipe 13 from the rear face of the projection 15d, a large diameter part 15b whose outside diameter is almost equal to the inside diameter of the pipe end part 13b on the forward side of the locking part 15a and a sloping part 15c matching with the tapering inner surface of the pipe at its connection end, whereby the duct 15 is inserted in the pipe 13 to engage the stop projection 15d with the inner surface of the case body 11 and the locking part 15a with the pipe end part 13b. |
