PURPOSE:To provide excellent portability with a small size and to easily measure an accurate air speed and water flow velocity under all circumstances in a flowing speed measuring apparatus to be used when the flow velocity of fluid such as the air, water, etc. are measured. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 12 is formed between upper and lower surfaces of a body case 11 of a wrist watch. A pressure of a wind which passes through the hole 12 is detected by a pressure sensor provided oppositely to a wall of the hole 12. The measurement of the wind is conducted three times within a predetermined time based on the detected pressure, and measured value data are stored in measured value registers 1-3 in a built-in RAM. When the uneven range of the measured values of the three times is smaller than a set range, its mean value is calculated and stored in a flow velocity register in the RAM as a true wind speed measured value. The measured value is displayed together with present time data, etc., read from a time register in the RAM on a liquid crystal display unit 13. |
