A process for dyeing regenerated cellulose fibres (I) comprises adding an amine-substd. cellulose deriv. (II) to a viscose material or alkali cellulose, or to a cellulose soln., spinning fibres by the viscose process, converting the fibres into woven or knitted fabric and dyeing with direct or acid dye in the absence of added electrolyte salt.
