The present invention relates to a load carrier which is to be arranged horizontally on a bicycle frame, comprising a saddle frame with a first end, a second end which is opposite to the first end, two mutually opposite sides which couple the first and second ends, thus defining the saddle frame, wherein the load carrier has a top side, in order to support a load, and an underside which lies opposite to the top side, the saddle frame having two elongate mounting components which are held at a distance apart, are arranged securely on the underside of the load carrier and extend parallel to one another, in a direction towards the second end.
