PURPOSE:To obtain a writing sheet enabling the writing using a writing utensil such as a marking pen and excellent in writing properties and carrying properties by providing a coating layer containing light absorbable pigment as a writing surface. CONSTITUTION:A writing sheet such as a white board is constituted of a writing layer and a base film but, in this case, the writing layer is formed from a compsn. containing a lubricant, a binder and light absorbable pigment. As the binder, a material good in dispersibility and having a proper amt. of a polar group well attracted to a magnetic powder is desirable and, for example, a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate copolymer is designated. The lubricant has function lowering the coefficient of friction of a writing utensil such as a marking pen and the surface of the writing layer and enhancing writing properties and, for example, higher fatty acid ester or silicone oil is suitable. As the light absorbable pigment, gamma iron oxide or cobalt/epitaxial gamma iron oxide being a needle particle is used. |
