The window has a wooden frame (7,47) on the inside and a metal frame (9,49) on the outside. The connection between the wooden and metal frames is formed by rectangular sheet steel clips (20,50). The clip (20) has near one of its edges a part folded into a U which is inserted in a groove (19) in the wooden frame. Its opposite edge is folded so as to anchor on the metal frame on an oblique rib. On the fixed part the metal frame is assembled by ratcheting to the folded back edges of the sheet steel clip. The edges of the clip (50) are elastically deformable and disappear when the metal frame is pressed into place, ensuring locking of the frame. The insulating glass (8) is put in place with the interposition of seals (17,27).
