<p>The invention relates to a device for correcting vertebral deformations while at the same time preserving the movements of the vertebral column. This device consists of a hook plate (1) which is fixed on the vertebra at 3 points (transverse apophysis, pedicle, and spinous apophysis). Each hook plate comprises a cylinder (15) which contains either a second cylinder (17) for fixing the rod (24), or a ball (18) which permits the sliding of this rod (24) whose curvature (in terms of its rotation) ensures correction both of kyphosis/lordosis and vertebral derotation. Springs (27) around the rods (24) bear on the cylinders (15) so as to effect compression of the convexity of the column by means of tensioning or to effect detraction of the concavity of the column by means of compression. <IMAGE></p> |
