The container is made from two folding sections (1,3), one made to hold a layer of separately-sealed pills (2), and the other an electronic alarm system with a dial (4) showing the days of the week, date and time, and a dual alarm for weekdays, and weekends. The clock and alarms are controlled by buttons (5,6), while a switch (7) is used for weekday or weekend alarm settings. Another button (8) is used to switch off the alarm before it has finished sounding. The clock and alarm system are designed to accommodate the varying intervals at which a pill has to be taken, with the alarm remaining silent on those days when no pill has to be taken.
