The forestry machine comprises a ground prepn. unit (4), a pressing component and a sowing unit. The ground prepn. unit has on each side a pivotably (12) suspended bogie box (10), which has a ripping wheel (15) and a support wheel (14). The wheels rotate with the same speed by the ripping wheel has a smaller dia. than the support wheel, whereby the ripping wheel peripheral speed is lower and on its periphery (17) are ripping teeth (18) in three radial planes which are forced to break through and work the ground surface. Between each radial plane are cleaning pins (26) arranged to remove material which the wheel may pick up. Through the bogie box mobility and the ripping wheel rotation the ground prepn. unit climbs over obstructions, stones and rocks. |
