The cycle saddle suspension is interposed between a frame (4) carrying the saddle body (3) and a saddle mounting rod. The suspension is constituted by a strip (7), of end to end continuous longitudinal composite fibre material, having a supple central part (8) forming a pivot for two rigid end parts (9,10). The strip is thin and wide parts relative to the end parts. The plane (P) of the thin part is perpendicular to a plane of symmetry common to the strip and the saddle. Parts (12,13) connect the saddle to each end part of the strip and to a lateral and transverse guide for the saddle relative to the rod. An intermediate structure interposed between the strip and the rod defines for each rigid end part a fixed pivot (14,15). The strip is supported by a stop (30) which limits raising of the saddle. |
