The sofa has two long cushions which form the seat and back and are held by two parts of a frame (3). These are articulated and are held at an angle of 110 deg., when used as a sofa, or horizontally, when used as a bed. Two removable arm rests (9) are joined to the end of the seat frame. The frame (10) of each arm rest has a U-shaped part (14), joined to the curved ends (13) of its uprights (12). In the bed position they are held on the cross bar of the back part of the frame (15).
