The stopper skirt (4) is fixed on the neck (7) of a container. It is sealed at one end by a bottom (8) inside of which are slots (10) allowing the deformation, under gaseous pressure, of a joint (15) housed in contact with the bottom. The slots in the plug bottom do not extend as far as the skirt which ensures a continuous annular surface (12) adjacent to the skirt. The external diameter of the joint is greater than the internal diameter of the continuous annular surface. A rigid annular part (18), of external diameter corresponding to the internal diameter of the plug, is supported on the joint and on the annular surface. It is supported by its other face on the edge (19) of the container neck. Radial grooves (28) in the face of the annular part ensure communication between the slots. The annular part has an annular groove (29) in its faced turned towards the plug bottom which communicate with the radial grooves.
