<p>Let h equal the height of a ridge (2b) of bearing alloy layer (2) constituting a sliding bearing (1), y the thickness of an intermediate layer (3), and t the thickness of an overlaying layer (4) at an apex portion of the ridge. The height h and thicknesses y, t are set within the ranges in which they satisfy the conditions of the following three expressions: 1≤h≤8....(1), 0∫y≤2....(2) and 0.7h≤t≤2h....(3). Let D equal the diameter of a rotary shaft supported on this sliding bearing. The height h of the ridge is preferably set within the following range: 0.5D/10000≤h≤1.25D/10000....(4). The unit of the h, y, t, D is νm. This enables an initial seizure resistance, and a post-abrasion seizure resistance and abrasion resistance of the overlaying layer to be improved.</p> |
