A heavy duty pallet container, for the transport of liqs. and fine loose material on a pallet, has a container mangle matching the rectangular outline of the pallet, composed of one or more wire mesh mattings. The plastics containers, for the liqs. or loose material, are inserted into the container mantle, to be packed together against the inner surface of the mantle. The container sides are formed by equidistant vertical round steel rods and encircling horizontal round steel rods, welded together at their intersections. At the corners, there are two vertical steel rods, with a vacant zone towards each side wall of three times the matting mesh width before the next vertical rods.
