Process water cooling device

The process water cooling device has a linking bypass (12) between the input (3) and output (6) lines switched to the main bypass (10), in cold water flow direction, through which, in case of emergency, cold cooling water can be fed into the output line. The input line has a second pump (14), with both pumps (4,14) being after the main bypass (10) and in front of the second bypass (12). Valves (11,131,15) are fitted in both bypasses and in the input line between the entrances of the bypasses. The valves (11,15) can be adjusted depending on the input temp. of the cold cooling water to the cooling unit (5).
