The shank (50) which holds the cutting head includes a fork (51) whose tines (56) embrace the planar inserts (1, 101) and include contouring (60, 62, 68) compatible with the geometry of the reliefs (12a, 12b, 13) to allow for the flows of chips and coolant, the paths (53, 201, 202) for which are formed in the shank (50) and inserts (1, 101) in complementary fashion. |
