Fixing device for locking containers during transport

The fixing device comprises a bolt pin (1) having a shaft and a rotatable head (3) whose lower edges (7,8) protrude opposite the shaft to engage over corner fitments of other abutments (11) provided on the underneath of the container. The bolt pin has on the top side inclined ramps for positioning the container. The pin can be turned only temporarily against an automatically operating resetting force through contact between the ramps and abutments automatically into a release position which allows the container to be positioned and automatically locked. The head (3) can be resettable in its locking position through spring force (5) and is rotatable against this spring force into the release position.
