PACKAGING-DEFICIENT LENTIVIRUSES

Packaging-deficient lentiviruses are described. In particular, a vector is capable of producing proteins of a virus selected from MVV (Maedi-Visna Virus) and HIV-2, but not of packaging the viral RNA.
